Azerbaijan Strengthens Ties with Turkic States Organization

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Secretary General Kubanıçbek Omuralıyev of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) to discuss strengthening cooperation and friendship among member states.

During the meeting, Minister Bayramov emphasized Azerbaijan’s commitment to supporting initiatives and ideas within the OTS, aiming to unlock the organization’s full potential.

The Secretary General expressed condolences over the recent Azerbaijan Airlines plane crash and praised Azerbaijan’s contributions to the OTS.

The meeting highlighted key achievements, including the adoption of a common Turkic Alphabet, new flag, and logo, as well as the establishment of a Civil Protection Mechanism. The parties also exchanged views on other pressing issues.

This meeting marks a significant step in bolstering Azerbaijan’s ties with the Turkic States Organization, fostering greater cooperation and solidarity among member states.
