Islamabad — Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, in a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, expressed solidarity with the people of Pakistan affected by devastating floods. He assured that the government and people of Azerbaijan stand firmly with Pakistan in this difficult time and will extend every possible assistance for relief and rehabilitation of the victims.
President Aliyev emphasized that Azerbaijan considers Pakistan a close brotherly country, with ties rooted in mutual trust and fraternity. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked the government and people of Azerbaijan, stating that Pakistan deeply values their spirit of solidarity during this challenging period.
