
Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepening regional collaboration with Türkiye during a meeting with Turkish Ambassador Dr. Irfan Nezerağlu in Islamabad.
In their talks, the two leaders explored the shifting political and strategic dynamics in South Asia, emphasizing the importance of closer international cooperation particularly in light of the upcoming Kazan Forum, a key platform for regional trade and diplomatic engagement.
Minister Aleem Khan praised the historic and enduring bond between Pakistan and Türkiye, crediting Pakistan’s recent defense achievements to the dedication of its armed forces and divine support.
He highlighted Pakistan’s proactive role in the region and expressed strong interest in broadening regional ties through multilateral efforts.
Ambassador Nezerağlu commended Pakistan’s resilience and strategic defense posture, particularly in response to recent tensions with India. He described the Türkiye-Pakistan friendship as “unparalleled” and emphasized the deep goodwill between the two nations.

Discussing the Kazan Forum, Aleem Khan stressed Pakistan’s intent to expand international partnerships by inviting other countries to join new trade corridors. He expressed hope that the forum would strengthen economic collaboration across various sectors.

The Turkish envoy assured Pakistan of Türkiye’s continued support, especially during times of geopolitical pressure. “Türkiye stands firmly with Pakistan and will always back its efforts on the global stage,” he said.
The meeting underscored the shared commitment of both countries to peace, cooperation, and regional unity in a rapidly evolving global environment.
