The advance team of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Pakistan ahead of his official visit, according to diplomatic sources.
The team arrived in Islamabad this morning to prepare for the President’s visit, which is scheduled to begin later tonight and will last until February 13, 2025.
President Erdoğan is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
During the visit, he will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers, senior officials, and corporate leaders.
The two leaders are expected to jointly chair the 7th session of the Pakistan-Turkiye High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC), where several important agreements and MOUs are anticipated to be signed.
Both leaders will also address a joint press stake-out and hold bilateral meetings.
President Erdoğan will further address the Pakistan-Turkiye Business and Investment Forum with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, bringing together key investors and business figures from both countries.
