A delegation from the Travel Agents Association of Pakistan (Punjab) visited the Turkish Airlines office in Lahore, where they were warmly welcomed by Umur Önder, General Manager of Turkish Airlines, Lahore.
The delegation included Yousuf Rizvi, Sadiq, Aleem Khan, and Saleem Khan.
During the visit, the delegation expressed heartfelt gratitude to Türkiye for its unwavering support of Pakistan during the recent Pakistan-India tensions. On the occasion, General Manager Umur Önder stated that Türkiye’s commitment to Pakistan is not based on political or economic interests, but reflects a sincere and brotherly relationship that binds the two nations together.
He added that while much of the world builds relations based on interests, Türkiye stands with Pakistan out of pure friendship, love, and shared values. These ties transcend borders and represent an exemplary bond of trust and unity. With pride, he remarked, “Türkiye and Pakistan are two countries, but one heart.”
Umur Önder also shared his personal sentiments, stating that the love, respect, and sincerity he has received in Pakistan are unforgettable. He assured the delegation that Türkiye will continue to stand by Pakistan through every hardship and celebration alike, concluding with: “We are together. We are one.”
