Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, while addressing the General Assembly of the Turkish Red Crescent, stated that “The Turkish Red Crescent, which is the oldest and most well-established welfare organization of Türkiye, still ensures its presence wherever there is a need.”

President Erdoğan described the Red Crescent as “an ancient organization of goodwill,” and said that its historical role and humanitarian services are a source of pride for all of us. He further stated that the Turkish Red Crescent has assisted affected individuals not only in Türkiye but also across the world during natural disasters, wars, and humanitarian crises.
President Erdoğan paid tribute to the institution’s workers, volunteers, and administrators and expressed hope that the Turkish Red Crescent would continue its mission with the same spirit in the future.

The Turkish Red Crescent is not only a charitable institution but also a practical embodiment of Türkiye’s humanitarian vision, which has always been at the forefront in serving the oppressed and the needy across the globe.
