Pakistan Will Respond with Full Force if Sovereignty or Territorial Integrity is Challenged : Army Chief General Asim Munir

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir met with participants of the 15th National Workshop in Balochistan at GHQ. The purpose of the workshop was to inform youth, parliamentarians, bureaucrats, civil society members, media, and academia about national and provincial issues and bring them onto the same page.

In his address, General Asim Munir highlighted the government’s focus on the social and economic development of Balochistan, emphasizing that the scope of future projects in the province will be expanded. He mentioned that the benefits of several development projects are now reaching the public.

The COAS praised the role of civil society in raising awareness among Balochistan’s youth, recognizing their pivotal contribution to the province’s prosperity.

He made it clear that foreign-sponsored terrorism poses the greatest threat to the security and development of Balochistan. The malicious agendas of hostile elements, seeking to create instability, fear, and violence in the province, will not succeed.

General Asim Munir firmly stated that terrorism has no religion, sect, or ethnicity, and it can only be defeated through national unity. He emphasized that groups spreading terrorism under the guise of Baloch identity are, in fact, a stain on the dignity and honor of the Baloch people.

The COAS reiterated that while Pakistan desires peace in the region, if Pakistan’s sovereignty or territorial integrity is challenged, a strong response will be given in defense of the homeland.

He reaffirmed that the Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies, with full public support, will continue their fight against terrorism.
