
Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya participated in the Investment Evaluation Coordination Meeting in Konya, where ongoing and upcoming projects under the Ministry’s responsibility were discussed.
The meeting took place at the Taş Bina Culture and Art Center and was attended by Konya Governor İbrahim Akın, Deputy Interior Minister Mehmet Sağlam, Gendarmerie General Commander General Ali Çardakcı, Security General Director Mahmut Demirtaş, AK Party Konya deputies, Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, and other local officials.
Minister Yerlikaya emphasized the collaborative nature of the meeting, stating that investments related to security and public service infrastructure were evaluated with input from all stakeholders. “We discussed what is needed, what should be renewed, and how to increase capacity,” he said.
He added that an action plan is being prepared and will be implemented soon, depending on budget availability. Projects already completed will be opened to the public shortly.
“Our work aims to enhance the peace, security, and well-being of Konya,” Yerlikaya said, calling the meeting “very productive.”
