The Turkish Diyanet Foundation (TDV) has launched a significant Ramadan aid initiative in 22 cities across Pakistan.
In celebration of its 50th anniversary, TDV has distributed 13,500 food packages, provided iftar meals to 7,000 people, and gifted festive clothing to 2,500 underprivileged children.
Under the theme “Don’t Forget Your Brother, You Are the One Expected,” TDV’s campaign is reaching 81 countries and 417 regions worldwide.
Volunteers and staff, including actor Emre Üçtepe, have joined forces to provide essential aid and bring joy to those in need.
The food packages, which include essential items like rice, flour, oil, and dates, were distributed in cities such as Thatta, where a special ceremony saw 750 food packages handed out.
The event concluded with a Quran recitation, and the people of Pakistan expressed their gratitude for Turkiye’s support during this blessed month.
Through these efforts, TDV continues to strengthen the bond of goodwill and solidarity between Turkiye and Pakistan during Ramadan.
