In his address at the AK Party’s Kayseri Provincial Congress, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that the end of the PKK/YPG terrorist group occupying northern Syria is near, and the group is close to being discarded as irrelevant.
Erdoğan highlighted Turkiye’s stance on Syria, affirming that history has proven Turkiye’s position correct.
Referring to the Ba’ath regime, which ruled with oppression for 61 years, he noted that it collapsed in just a few days, with President Bashar al-Assad fleeing Syria without looking back.
Addressing the PKK/YPG terrorist group, Erdoğan emphasized that Turkiye’s goal is to eliminate all such organizations in Syria, either through peaceful means or by force, to ensure Turkiye’s security and to remove obstacles to Syria’s territorial integrity, political unity, and internal peace.
He further stressed that those who turned the region into a hell in the name of fighting ISIS will not succeed this time.
The YPG, the largest obstacle to Syria’s security and peace, will soon be discarded as well, as its fate is sealed with no chance of recovery.
