
During the recent tensions with India, a significant majority 65% of Pakistanis expressed satisfaction with the country’s diplomatic efforts, praising the government’s foreign policy as effective and well-managed.
According to a new survey conducted by Gallup Pakistan, only 15% of respondents were dissatisfied with the government’s foreign policy stance.
The survey also highlighted public approval of political unity in response to Indian actions. About 64% of Pakistanis appreciated the alliance of all political parties, terming it a positive and timely move, while 22% expressed dissatisfaction.
In case of a war with India, 78% of Pakistanis indicated that China would be the most trusted ally. Following China, 66% expressed trust in Türkiye, 63% in Saudi Arabia, 60% in Iran, 56% in Bangladesh, and 51% in Afghanistan. However, a majority believed that Western countries would offer minimal support to Pakistan in such a scenario.
